The Young & The Restless Update #2 (05/03-05/07)

Here's the review for one of the most exciting weeks in Genoa City:
[This is the format that I will follow for now, with offering an overview & opinions thrown in.]

Amber and Daniel fight over Little D (now known as Eric), and Amber decides that she and Eric must leave Genoa City in order to protect him; Daniel refuses to leave, but at the end of the week reasures Amber that he couldn't imagine life without her (Awww!).

Sarah tries to kill Phyllis, but to no avail; Patty finds out and furiously leaves Michael, leaving both Michael and Phyllis safe.

Sarah is caught, and Michael realizes who the true Lauren is with the help of Lauren and Phyllis, Lauren shoots Sarah and Sarah dies (great end to a great storyline!).

Kevin finds Jana, but her headache has been worse, she is rushed to the hospital, and we find that she doesn't remember Kevin after surgery to remove a brain anyuerism.. ( :( ).

Jack finally realizes Emily is Patty and confronts her, after she reacts as Patty would towards a "stray" cat that Jack has adopted. Jack tells Paul that Patty was masquerading as Emily. And Heather reveals that the DNA test proved that "Patty" is Emily. Patty goes to the hospital and injects Emily with medicine, and drops her off at the mourge labeling her as "JANE DOE."

Charges against Nick were dropped, then those against Victor were dropped, then evidence was shown that Adam accused Nick of murdering him on a recording on his cell phone. On Friday, Adam tells us that if Sharon had come with him, things would have been different. (sure...) Sharon and Phyllis determine that Adam might have set Nick up; and Adam ends with saying that he has gotten away with the perfect crime. (we'll See!)

JT finds Reed at the police station after he told Victoria not to bring up the murder trial up with Reed. Victoria and JT argue over this. (more problems!!)

Kevin releases Daisy and Ryder, Daisy later swears to Ryder that Genoa City has not seen the last of her... Oh Great.

STRONGEST MALE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK:
1. Michael [#2 last week]
2. Kevin [#1 last week]
3. Daniel [not ranked last week]

STRONGEST FEMALE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK:
1. Lauren [#2 last week, tied with Sarah]
2. Patty [#1 last week]
3. Amber [#3 last week]

COUPLE OF THE WEEK: Michael & Lauren [last week: Cane & Lily]
